Bring your old comics to this symposium to find out what they are REALLY worth.  As a spring-board to discussion we will trace important moments in comic book history using key first appearances of FEMALE comic book characters, from Wonder Woman to Power Girl.
 This panel is hosted by Brett Carreras, Promoter of the VA Comicon, advisor to the Overstreet
and Fogel’s Price guides, and Collectibles Consultant for ABC television.

Musical Composition with Pete Curry, Tuesday the 18th at 6pm.
Learn important techniques and concepts applicable to various types of composition (instrumental, songwriting, etc). Bring any ideas or works in progress you may want 
to have master class with or have direct instruction.  Discussion of musical examples and some lecture, 
so bring a notebook and
staff paper!

Screenprinting
 with Dusty, Monday the 22nd at 7pm.
Learn how to go from zero to printing in just a few hours. 
This class will focus on how you can make awesome prints at home with a minimum of materials. We will cover how to make frames to print with, how to make stencils, 
how to create screens with or without exposing, creating monoprints with colored pencils, 
and basic materials to print on including how to print patches and shirts.

“Constructing Terramids” with Adam Weatherford, Tuesday the 23rd at 6pm.
Adam shows you how to create your own positive pyramid vining terrarium out of glass and wood. 
Bringing succulents is optional but encouraged!

Sacred Chanting with 
Mica Whitney, Monday the 29th at 7pm.
Mica will lead several sacred songs/ chants, feel free to bring percussion, shakers etc.

SMOKE & MIRRORS: beauty simplified & demystified for ladies, gentlemen, and other persons with Douglas Andrea, Tuesday the 30th at 4pm.
90 minutes of instruction & discussion concerning DIY grooming techniques, alternative regimens, 
toxic cosmetic ingredients, and how to get the most out of professional care. Information will be pertinent 
to all textures & lifestyles. Instructor Douglas Andrea is a professional 
hairdresser & educator based in Richmond.
